Watermelon Tourmaline with Lepidolite and Quartz
Description- World class, museum quality watermelon tourmaline cabinet specimen. Thick tourmaline crystals with dark green exteriors (so dark it appears almost black in the photos) and luscious pink interiors cluster together to form a massive crystal cluster specimen. Mixed in and among the tourmaline are crystals of pink lepidolite mica, quartz and an unknown mineral. The quartz weaves it way through the nooks and crannies of the tourmaline crystals, as well there being one crystal perched jauntily on the apex of the piece. And though, there is an incredible amount of varying crystal colors, textures and shapes to draw the eye to the 'top' of the specimen, the 'bottom' features a grey/pink iridescent sheen. A simply stunning specimen.
